Scheduling with a prospective provider on the
phone and inform them that you have been
referred to them by our volunteer
coordinator. During the first call ask the
provider about their experience working with
your specific issue and possible needs that you
think you may have -- in order to make sure that
this is the right clinical match for you.

As a reminder: not all
providers may be available on your first call.
We strongly encourage you to leave a message, and if a
few days pass, please contact our volunteer
coordinator to assist you with initiation with the
identified provider. Also as a reminder, you
will not be charge for any services when receiving
care from an NFL Speaks volunteer.
